Melvin,
You didn’t say whether you have an original style Aquamate or the Aquamate II (E series could have come with either one) The original Aquamate has a rectangular shampoo bottle and 50′ of water hose that hooks to your faucet. The Aquamate II has a round shampoo bottle and a separate water tank that sits on the dolly underneath the water basin.
If you have an original Aquamate; ensure that the water hose is hooked securely to your faucet and that there is enough water pressure. (Turn the water off before proceding to this next step). Disconnect the tubing from the plastic spray nozzle in the shampoo head. Hold the tubing over the sink, turn the water back on and depress the trigger. If water flows out the tube freely then it would seem that the plastic spray nozzle is clogged or defective. Soak the nozzle in some white vinegar and use a brush to clean the gunk off the nozzle. If that doesn’t work it will probable need to be replaced.
If water did not flow freely in the above step; the Flow Control Assembly in the handle portion may be clogged or defective. This part will require further troubleshooting and disassembly.
If you have the Aquamate II; here is a link to the owners manual at Rainbow’s website: http://rainbowsystem.com/rainbowsystem/manuals/AquamateII.cfm I’m afraid we can’t be of much more help with the Aquamate II due to our lack of experience with it. But, it’s still a fairly basic set up. Check lines and connections and be sure the clean water tank and dirty tank are seated properly
Hopefully this helps, or one of our other readers has a better solution

If water pan/u can remove pump assembly by breaking off the 4 locking pins and dissasemble the pump parts, the main problem is one that has set up for a while has a stuck spring which when you free it up the unit will work properly. when you re-assemble the pump you will need to use epoxy glue to hold the motor to the tank housing, no problem here, unit will work well. Just be careful and watch where the springs go when you take the pump apart. It is a very simple device.
Fixed mine tonight. Thanks for the post Bill!
I followed these directions and fixed mine as well!!
Thank you!
How do you break off those 4 pins?
