How to gain access to a Rainbow 'E' series vacuum cleaner motor

Caution: Be sure your vacuum is unplugged from the electrical outlet before proceeding!  There are 3 screws on each side of the top cover of the Rainbow ‘E’ series vacuum cleaners located behind the decals. To get to the screws; use a non-scratching tool such as a plastic putty knife and pry out a corner of the plastic window, carefully pull out the plastic window and decal and remove the 3 screws. Repeat this process for both windows and then just lift up the top cover to expose the inside.
