Tristar VacuumThis vacuum takes both cloth and paper bags.I ordered the paper bags and they did not fit very snugly but the original cloth bag does. Any suggestions on how to clean the cloth bag without making a cloud of dust ? Also it is a real chore to pick out all the lint and dirt.

The paper bag should fit fairly tight on top of the cloth bag. If not, is there a problem with the rubber gasket around the top of the cloth bag? Or are the paper bags defective?
To clean the cloth bag; simply hit it against a trash can a few times or vacuum it out with another vacuum. We don’t recommend that you wash it as that will destroy the filtering capabilites of the cloth.
