Need Style 12 filters & belts and bearing(s) for this vacuum. Can’t find it on the list of models. Can we still get parts , etc. for this or did it go the way of extinction like so many things do?

We now have all parts available for your model 6596 (including belts and filters) at http://vacuumcleanershop.com/Bissell/bissell-model-6596.htm I’m not sure which bearings you’re referring to but if you mean brush roll bearings, they are not available. You will have to purchase the complete brush rolll.
