BE SURE TO UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM CLEANER FROM THE WALL OUTLET BEFORE PROCEEDING!
Lower the handle and turn the vacuum bottom side up
Remove the 4 phillips head screws as shown below and lift the bottom plate off.
Remove the brush roll. Remove the old belt from the motor shaft.
Remove any hair and debris from the brush roll, especially under the end caps.
Put the new belt around the motor pulley and brush roll.
Streeeeeeeech the belt side of the brush roll toward you and secure it in place. Secure the other end of the brush roll.
Rotate the brush manually a few times to make sure the belt is not pinched.
Reinstall bottom plate.
