hoover model u6425920 (self-propelled wind tunnel). when using the attachments, the handle moves around in its latched upright position. how do i get to the handle release lever? i’m assuming that’s the cause of the handle having so much play in it while locked upright. or is it the piece that the release lever locks onto?

    thanks,
    jim

Yes, I have the same problem. Could someone post how to fix that problem also? Thank you.

My problem is my entire pedal came off when it got hooked under my bed frame. Now I don’t know how to re-install it and my handle obviously doesn’t stay locked in the upright position without it. Anyone know how to re-install?

My guess is that you need a new pedel, the plastic catch may be broke. They cost about $5.00 shipping included. Looks like they just snap into place.
