A while back my rainbow powerhead started get hot and making a high pitch noise. I took it apart and put a drop of oil on the bearings and checked the brush roll. The noise went away briefly and now has returned. I think its a problem with the motor. Is there some thing I can do or should the motor just replaced? I also wanted to mention that I had this vacuum repaired by a store repairman. I’m not sure if he put something back wrong when he put in a new brushroll…

Miele vacuum S4212 Polaris with SBD 450 - 3 Combination Carpet/Smooth floor tool
(Recommended for: short-pile carpeting, area rugs and smooth flooring)
S4212 Neptune with STB 205-3 Turbo Comfort Brush
S5281 Callisto with SEB217-3 Powerbrush
(Recommended for: medium-to high pile carpeting, area rugs and smooth flooring)

I’m trying to get the part number for the brushes for the motor. They are located on each side of the motor. I purchased it in 1993, it’s a TriStar Cleaning system.
