Lower the handle to the floor.
Remove the 2 screws from the brush roll cover
Remove the brush roll cover

Lower handle to the floor.
Remove two screws from hood.
Lift out left end of brush roll
Remove old belt and install new belt
Rotate brush roll by hand before applying power to ensure new belt is not pinched in housing.
